Coroner ID’s Livermore motorcyclist killed in October crash

LIVERMORE — The Alameda County coroner has identified a man who was killed when his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle two weeks ago.
Justin Todd Thomas, 38, of Livermore, was killed a little before 5 p.m. on Oct. 17, after his motorcycle was struck by a Honda CRV at North Mines Road and Shirley Way in Livermore, police said. Thomas was heading northbound as the Honda struck him while turning onto Shirley Way.
Police say the driver of the Honda stopped and cooperated with authorities after the crash. She was not arrested, though the incident remains under investigation, authorities said.
An online obituary describes Thomas as a father of three and shows pictures of him playing guitar on stage and attending events with family members.
