Harley-Davidson dealer pays $12.25M for Scottsdale mansion

The CEO of General Mills, the owner of Route 66 Harley Davidson and former owners of Barrio Queen were among the buyers and sellers of metro Phoenix’s priciest house to sell during the week third week of January.

An Oklahoma LLC named DWR Holdings Silverleaf bought a 13,606-square-foot mansion in north Scottsdale’s Silverleaf community. The LLC is managed by Dale Rhoads, who owns the Route 66 Harley-Davidson and Defcon Powersports. The house, located on 3.3 acres, has seven bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, Swarovski crystal accents, gold-inlaid floating staircases and Italian chandeliers.
Gary and Kathi Heidenreich sold the home. Barry and Virginia Van Patten of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing.

The Loloma Trust paid cash for a 10,352-square-foot Paradise Valley mansion with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The house with views of Camelback Mountain has a primary suite with sitting room, wet bar, gym and two marble showers. The kitchen has Taj Mahal marble, and outside there are pickleball and bocce ball courts as well as two dog runs.
Restaurateurs Linda Nash and Steven Rosenfield, who are the former owners of Barrio Queen, were the sellers.

A group called AZ Hillcrest purchased a 9,293-square-foot Scottsdale house near The Phoenician resort. The house comes with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two kitchens, an office, fitness room, cabana next to the pool, sunken firepit and sand volleyball court. Grey Collective led by Rebecca McClure sold it.

Jeffrey and Lisa Harmening purchased a 7,389-square-foot home with four bedrooms and 5 ½ bathrooms in north Scottsdale’s Estancia community. He’s CEO of food company General Mills. Additional information on the house wasn’t available. David and Elena Forgan sold it. He’s co-founder of Canadian-based Sure Good Foods.
$6,500,000
Charlene and Stephen Hills of Newport Beach, California, paid cash for a new 6,389-square-foot north Scottsdale home near the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale. Located on five acres, the home has five bedrooms and 6 ½ bathrooms. Craig and Kristen Potts sold it.
